15th - 16th September 2010 - BCFTA Study Tour
  Held at North East of England  
  Following very successful study tours over the years and the one to the North West of England last years this years will be to the North east visiting a major Compounder, Biomass storage and Ethanol plant  
22nd - 23rd September 2010 - Trade Awareness Course
  Held at Bristol & surrounding areas (based at Winford Manor Hotel, Winford, Bristol BS40 8DW)  
  The BCFTA Trade Awareness Course is designed and intended to provide an opportunity for employees of Member Companies to gain a fuller understanding of the industry they work in. By providing an opportunity to view a cross section of the Trade along with presentations by people directly involved in the agricultural feed/food chain. This allows the individuals taking part in the Course to develop their knowledge by viewing, experiencing other businesses and by discussion with one another. The Trade Awareness Course is a residential Course and takes place over 2 days and a charge of £195.00 per person is made to cover the Travel, accommodation for the night of the 22nd September 2010 and meals.

2nd December 2010 - Guild Christmas Lunch
  Held at Shirhampton Golf Club  
17th March 2011 - Provisional date of the Exeter Merchants Lunch
  Held at Exeter Rugby Club  
  The Exeter Merchants Lunch is a long established event and provides a unique and inexpensive opportunity for Members of the Feed & Grain Trade and all sectors of the Supply Trade to meet together at an informal gathering.  
12th May 2011 - Provisional date of the BCFTA Spring Conference
  Held at Weston-super-Mare  
  This years spring conference is designed to give the attendees an overview of the market in which British agriculture operates and in particular the effects that world trade is having on it. The speakers will be covering; - Financial pressures on world agriculture, grain and feed supply. - GM - Global Warming/ Weather - The effects of none food use of raw materials traditionally used for food and feed. -The world trade supply of agricultural commodities and the associated cost of raw materials and the continuing effects of none food pressures on feed materials. The conference is being structured to allow for open discussions between speakers and delegates so that a greater understanding of the challenges and opportunities we have can be identified.
